You will learn organizing principles, decluttering techniques and methods that guarantee success.

Linda Ely, owner of Organizing Matters has been working with clients since 1999, helping clients first, in Houston, Texas and now serving Monmouth and Ocean Counties of New Jersey. Linda works with clients to assist them with achieving their goal of having an organized workplace, home, and family.

Mission Statement

To create simplicity out of chaos, to give order and control to workplaces, homes and lives through Inspiration, training, hands-on-work, resources and referrals. Organizing Matters seeks to give each client the best, most effective tools to effortlessly manage daily tasks in order to allow time for the things in life that matter most.

About Linda

It can be said that Linda Ely was a classic, cluttered, disorganized mom who was always busy but perpetually behind. Thank God for CHANGE!

She discovered her passion for organizing and for helping others after she rescued herself from a cluttered home and overwhelming schedule.  After a year-long journey through attic, closets and drawers, an organized woman emerged.   As her passion for organizing grew, so did her goals.  As a professional organizer Linda is able to inspire others to change to a more organized way of living and working.

Linda has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY.  She worked as an At-Home-Mom for 9 years then as a Director of Youth Ministry for 3 1/2 years.  While in business as professional organizer for over 15 years; it was life that taught her the most; the ups & downs, the losses, the joys, and getting through the tough times.  Experiencing much of what her clients have continues to enrich her work. 

Linda started her business as a Professional Organizer, consultant and speaker in Houston, TX in 1999.  Now, back home in New Jersey, she serves the Central Jersey, Monmouth & Ocean County area.  She is a member of NAPO, the National Association of Professional Organizers and NAPO’s Golden Circle.

Linda rolls up her sleeves and works alongside her clients, teaching and doing.  She teaches groups the simple techniques of getting and staying organized and travels for speaking engagements.

Here are some of the communities Linda serves:  Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Bay Head, Colts Neck, Deal, Eatontown, Farmingdale, Freehold, Interlaken, Long Branch, Manasquan, Mantoloking, Neptune, Ocean, Point Pleasant, Red Bank, Rumson, Sea Girt, Shrewsbury, Spring Lake, Tinton Falls, Wall, Wanamassa and surrounding areas..  If you don’t see your town here, call and ask!  She travels!
